♥ Christmas ♥
I just finished decorating the Christmas tree *feeling Christmassy* so i though i would share pictures of our beautiful, simple and colorful tree. Also, Jesus's manger under the tree as a celebration to his birth.
So first, let me tell you something about Christmas.
Christmas means "mass of Christ"
It's the month we experience the joys of Christmas. But what is the real meaning of Christmas? Is it the presents, the bright lights we see in the windows and outside, the greeting cards in the mail, food and candy, snow, and shouts of "Merry Christmas" to those who pass us in the streets or relatives that we most likely only see in Christmas? Is this really Christmas?
For many people, Christmas is a time of sadness and frustration. They don't have the money to buy presents for their children, family, and friends. for many for some reasons Christmas doesn't feel like Christmas for materialistic issues. Christmas is being celebrated by many people who don't even care that it's a religious holiday. Christmas Time is beautiful time and brings so many amazing things with it such a gifts and pretty lights that it's easy to forget the real meaning for it. I mean, it okay to enjoy the beautiful things and times, but it's important to know and appreciate the real meaning.
Christmas can be a season of great joy and peace. It is a time of God showing His great love for us. It can be a time of healing, renewing our strength and strengthening
our belief. You see, Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to be born. He sent part of him to the world for a hope to save us through him. His birth brought great joy to the world. Shepherds, wise men, and angels all shared in the excitement of knowing about this great event.(as it is shown in his manger we put with the tree) so i hope you celebrate Christmas with Jesus in mind, food in stomach, warm cloths and peace and love at heart ♥
Ps. ♥ Merry early Christmas
and Happy new year ♥
