★ Thoughts On Choosing A Career Path ★
This is a topic that I've been researching and researching over three years now and I'm still not sure if i got the answer, but here is what I've learned from all the research I've done and my thoughts on it, hoping you find them useful somehow (let me know if you do.)
knowing or planning what you want to study and do for the rest of your life can be very scary and overwhelming, especially if you are someone like me who have a passion for more that one thing. Not many people are lucky enough to say that they want to do something they have been loving since they were little kids and it turned out to be an excellent career choice. For example, I love arts, psychology, computers, law, writing, designing, teaching, fashion,...etc and just anything that i can be creative with and have my own say to it. I believe in starting with something that makes sense to you and it doesn't have to be your true passion because believe it or not, there is no such a thing as one true passion, in may opinion. It can be something you are interested in and it potentially makes a good career. Be realistic when you choose a field of study that you see a future with and don't be afraid or doubtful to see yourself in that future. However, remember that this is just the start, you don't have to look at it as something you have to do or take in order to please others or meet their expectations. you need to prove yourself right first, not others. Tell yourself that this is just the beginning of your journey to find out what you want to do with the time you have here on earth. Of course you don't want to take something just for fun and waste your money or your parents or guardians money hahah, but be excited and realistic with your choice. So, whether you are one of the lucky ones who already know what they want or you're in the process of finding out, stay hopeful and open-minded about everything. In the end you better do what's best for you and please take others' advice, especially the ones who care about you, they may or may not be right. In the end it's your life and it's your path, Good Luck! .
i don't own this picture, but i like to think it's me hehe ;)
