♥ The fault in our stars - John Green (Book review #1) ♥
" The Fault in our Stars is the sixth novel by author John Green , published in January 2012. The story is narrated by a sixteen-year-old cancer patient named Hazel Grace Lancaster, who is forced by her parents to attend a support group, where she subsequently meets and falls in love with the seventeen-year-old Augustus Waters, an ex-basketball player and amputee."
As I closed the book, I had a very weird feeling of realization, silence and emptiness. A feeling of wanting more from the story. It's funny to say that because the main character is also upset about her favorite book ending in a way that it's not really the end for the characters. This book made me appreciate my life more than anything. It made me realize how ignorant I am to the fact that I'm blessed enough to be healthy and have the life many people would die for. We may not realize that in a such young age where life is a scary exciting place to live in and having to worry about every single thing. There is a say to summarize all this that says, "99% of Things You Worry About Never Happen" in this book the struggle was real, the character was dying to live, so if you have not read it already, enjoy! it may change your life.
ps. I may have shed tears in chapter 21. Just saying. And if you want a beautiful song about the book listen to The fault in our stars by Troye Sivan
I don't own these pictures. Okay?
